Cabin air filter

A friend of mine was getting her oil changed in a 2011 Honda Fit at the dealership and they quoted her the same thing. She purchased her own filter from NAPA I believe for around $20 ish, and changed it in 2 minutes. I believe she had to remove to clips in the glove box and change it in there.

Put it down! Shooting in west side of Belleville (basically outer east st. louis)

I agree with both of you!! I live in Mascoutah, and sometimes drive through ESL (15) on my way to work. It'll take a lot more than just developing the waterfront to turn the city around. It honestly looks comparable to when I drove through Kabul, Afghanistan.

That is really cool OP. As a father of 3, I've seen some interesting drawings come home from school. Back when my son was ~ 4 I found a drawing he made of a battle scene with tanks / helicopters / airplanes etc. I asked him what it was and he said it was Vietnam. At that point I wondered...

Help me Find a Commuter Car

Just wanted to thank everyone for their input/help. As it turns out I don't think I'll be purchasing any of those vehicles. I forgot a while back I put a bid on a car that was sold through my bank. It's a 2012 Sonic LS w/13k miles. I think the only option other than automatic transmission...

St. Louis with kids?

I second the transportation museum. It's pretty cool and has a lot of interesting displays. Cahokia Mounds is a short distance across the river in Illinois and is pretty interesting ancient Native American site. Also, I know you have kids but the Brewery Tour is still pretty entertaining.

Chevy 1998 K1500 not starting

New batter Feb 2011, new starter Nov 2011. I replaced the starter in November as it wasn't starting. Autozone said it was dead. Truck started up fine after that. Was driving home after Thanksgiving, and stopped off at a gas station. Truck wouldn't start. Same symptoms as when the starter...
