this psu will be fine. believe it or not, depending on your last system, this system might actually draw less power than your old one...

correct, a psu for your system won't be that much, and why risk it on a junk ultra? i wouldn't be surprised if this "400w" psu is actually a 250w at realistic conditions, and it will not last long running so close to its max output. a quality 450w psu will be fine, but emphasis on quality...

Is this Dell build a good choice for me?

are you set on dell? me and my friend found this website, avadirect.com, and he built a very nice system for 1300 bucks. you get more customization options, and you don't get charged out the wazzoo for upgrades like ram.

Okay, I know how to get in contact with a company, I'm not stupid... I'm well aware of spam filters, I have emailed them from three different email accounts. I have also called them, and left messages. I was not rude to them at any point, but there is a breaking point to not being given a crap...

Current CPU still up to par for DX10 games?

keep the cpu, theres very little need to upgrade. also, remember in a few months when dx10 games start coming out, dx10 is alot less cpu dependant than dx9.

AMD 65nm doesnt seem to be too hot

amd already has the process, although it is nowhere near allowing 5ghz clocks, thats just absurd. it already uses it on 90nm, thats how fx74 and the upcoming 3.2ghz chip can exist on 90nm, its called sige, or silicon germanium, adds 40% transistor performance, which ofcourse does not translate...
