So I began my install of Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit (retail version from MS) last night at around 9:30 PM. I disconnected all other drives and reformatted the drive below as my new Primary.
Upon booting to DVD the process seemed to hang several times and take longer than I would have expected...

Got this drive when it was $180 at Frys a few weeks back, love it so far. Need to buy an eSata cable though, didnt realize I needed one until I got home, and the one from the MB is too short.
It shows up in the bios, I see them in the devices at boot and in the connected devices (whatever section of the bios that is called) but when I go to the screen to change the boot sequence and open up the list of options, they aren't there.

I just built a new box and so far I like everything, however I did a quick install of Vista Ultimate to get me up and running, toy around, etc and now I want to blow away my install and start fresh.
I just tried to reinstall Vista but within the bios I was unable to force the system to boot...
Have you tried them with Vista yet? I almost drove down to Frys this morning to grab the 4G PQI thumbdrives but checked online first, apparently they arent fast enough for Readyboost. Was hoping I could find a 4GB for cheap, although not sure the size really matters.
