How to Send Audio to HDMI on Radeon 2100

DVI does not, ATI video cards somehow know when the HDMI adapter is plugged in and begin transmitting audio. Don't ask me how, all I know is it works with my HD 4850 just fine, and according to ATI and many other websites it should work with the on-board HD 2100 as well. Except it doesn't.

Soyo Motherboard Bios Flash

I do indeed have another power supply which I have already swapped - no dice. And nothing smells burnt. There doesn't seem to be anything physically wrong with it (although clearly there must be, or at least must have been). I'm more concerned with the fact that the BIOS is corrupt at the moment...

It probably reset the BIOS, but the problem is still there: the error message "BIOS ROM checksum error" still appears, it still tries to go to the floppy for an OS (instead of C:) and I still can't get into the BIOS settings.

Radeon HD4850 Underclock

Thanks for the tip about RBE and Techpowerup, however I'm not sure the 2D/3D modes are applicable to myself: I'm running Vista with Aero turned on, so I'm pretty sure it will have to stay in 3D mode even when I'm just browsing the internet or checking my mail.
