Which of these 20" LCDs is the best value?

I think you are right. I got the model number of a list of displays that were supposed to be all non-TN, but a search on flatpanels.dk shows the following Acer AL2023WA (widescreen) has a 20 inch 5 ms TN panel. So that one is out of the race.

Ideal triple display setup?

Many thanks for all your input guys. I haven't made up my mind yet whether I will go for integrated + PCI-E card vs 2 PCI-E cards, but I have ditched the 3 PCI card idea.

I will give you some more general advice rather than recommend a specific model as it really depends on what matters to you most. MVA based monitors all better all-rounders than TN based ones[/li] Ignore the manufacturer's claims regarding response time, find some good reviews instead...

Does GA-8IHXP support Prescott?

Yes I will do that if I can find one for a reasonable price. I don't want to spend to much on this and the prices of Northwoods are higher than you would have thought, probably due to the limited supply. Hopefully I will find one on eBay (UK though, not US).

Does GA-8IHXP support Prescott?

Ah fair enough. Thank you for your suggestion, however I also have RDRAM rather than DDR so appart for a cheap motherboard I would also need memory. I think I'll just try to get a faster Northwood on ebay as I currently only have a P4 1.6GHz @ 2.2GHz.
