I just got my system rebuilt I downloaded the 1006 Bios of course the ASUS server called it 1004. anyhow I install it, I go to SLI configuration menu and there is only a selection for easy plug. In the past it had a selection for SLI, auto single and dual (or something like that) Anyone have...

Arctic cooling conversion gone bad

I just installed a arctic cooling cooler in my 6800 ultra. When I boot up I get all kinds of garbage layed over the normal display. Once windows boot completely I get the normal display but the entire screen has little retangles about every 1/8-1/4 of an inch over the top of the normal display...

Arctic Cooling NV 5

I just bought an Arctic Cooling NV 5 to put on my 6800 Ultra. The cooler came with a tube of Silicone Paste. The composition is: 50% silicone, 20% carbon, 30% metal oxide. Should I use this paste for use the Arctic silver 5 that I have here?

trying to get SLI working

I'll try my LCD monitir again. I could not install the cards with it before. I have heard several people say that they are not supported. While trying to install the first thing the level 2 tech at Asus wanted me to do was to swicth out my LCD or a CRT monitor.

trying to get SLI working

OK, this might not help at all. Rember that digtial monitors are not supported by SLI at this time. Your monitor should be plugged into the Card in the blue slot. I'm not sure it matters which plug.

Temp sensors on A8N-SLI

FYI I am using seedfan here. MOB A8N-SLI The IT8712F super I/O chip outputs three temps. One is the CPU the other looks like the MOB temp. Anyone know for sure what the third temp is on this MOB ? I have done a few experiments thinking it was the north bridge (hoping). No for certain...
