Thanks for the thought out response. I have to agree with you regarding the "unknown" on the A03 revision with Dell. Although I haven't heard of any issues with that version "yet" that doesn't mean they are not out there. Like you mention as well, I think their bandaid fix was to just disable...

I did consider the Benq, although it's about $300 more. Response times are the same from the stats I have read, 6ms each I believe? Does it offer any other primary benefit? Also how is their customer support/ warranty like?

Hi All, I went through much of this post but still can't find a solid answer on my best bet for a pure gaming LCD. I saw the recommendations in the guide, but all are mostly 19.1" models and I really want to get something around 22-24" I was looking into the 30" Dell 3007WFP LCD originally...

Best CPU for a low usage Server??

I hadn't given any thought to the Celeron screwface, but your right. Nice little chip for what I'll be doing and should be plenty. Also right around $100. Thanks for the advice.

Best CPU for a low usage Server??

Hmmm I think the CPU is a bit more important then that. Right now my server has an AMD 1800XP in it which is already faster then an Intel 1ghz. Ripping huge .rar files right now can take 15-20min. Any other suggestions?

Hi Fellas, long time lurker somewhat new poster. I can't get a good answer from my research. But here is my question. I'm building a new server which is mainly going to be for burning CD's/DVD's, and as an FTP storage server. There will be plenty of data transfer but not much else...

Best place to buy refurb LCD's?

Does anyone have a link to anywhere where I can get a 17" LCD Refurb cheap? I swore Dell and IBM used to sell refurbed LCD dirt cheap but I can't find them on their site anywhere anymore. Thanks in advance... -Jason

Seriously, what is the best mouse for gaming?

I can't believe nobody mentioned the Razer Boomslang yet. The mouse rocks compared to all these mice. If your a hardcore gamer there is no other option. They are getting tough to find however as the company is struggling. But you can still find a steady supply on Ebay if they stopped taking...

install problems....HELP!!!

You said your booting from "disk". Do you mean you created the 1.44 floppy disks or did you try booting from the CD?

8KHA+ constantly dying

I had a very similiar problem just last week with my Epox board. I wound up changing my DDR ram out with another stick and never had the problem since. Gotta luv Crucials great customer support, they had me out a new one crossshipped overnight. So be sure to check the memory as well...
