7950gt temp under load, and fan control?

Thanks for the replies. I can oc pretty well and keep the temps around 85c. Just curious if anyone else has experience with heating these things up that much. thanks again

My 1950gt will reach anywhere between 75-90c at full load (3dmark06), depending on the level of overclocking...what is the top temp I should reach (so I can set my oc speeds accordingly). Also, I use RivaTuner to oc and monitor temps, but the fan control doesn't seem to do anything. Is there...

Hard Drive for Video Editing?

Hard Drive for Video Editing?

Generally speaking, would it be better (if you had two hard drives to work with) to read and write back to one "drive" (two drives in RAID 0), or to read from one drive, and write to another. Both drives would be SATA II.

MPEG-2 Help

So I back up all my video stuff on dvd. Each hour long tape creates a 4GB MPEG-2 file (8Mbps). I then throw it on a dvd, create chapters, etc...makes for very easy storage. My questions is... If I want to get that back on my computer (I guess in any format really), what program can I use...

6800 GT Temps>?

Can the NV Silencer 5 be used on a 6600 GT? If not, what is the best choice for one? My 6600 GT idles at 52, load at 65 or so...is that normal, even for a 6600GT?

Also, my "burn image" isn't under "file", it's under "recorder".

When I go to burn image, the only formats that show up as supported are .iso, .cue, and .nrg When I click on all files and try and open the .bin, it says "unexpected file format"

Okay so I just found out that it's a .bin file. Can this be burned right in nero? I can't seem to get it to work. When I drag it over to the open project, shouldn't it show all the files, not just the one bin? Thanks in advance for the help

DVD Software found

Just to let anyone know whos interested, I just tried out DVD Shrink 3.1, and found that it works perfectly for backing up DVD's. I have been using Sonic MyDVD to back up my digital video camera tapes, but I have a ??? What software do I need if I want the video back off the DVD and on to...
