71C ambient! that card isnt likely to below that without better airflow.

Whats the story with the dell 1907? The specs listed are better than the 1905, but is it really an improvement or more of the same?

Wierd clicking noise....

The computer starts now, but it freezes randomly....sometimes while loading windows and sometimes after windows is loaded. Its running very slow. That seems like a software problem...would a psu not supplying enough voltage slow down a computer? I could see it happening if the multiplyer or...

Wierd clicking noise....

the cpu only has a huge heatsink, no fan. there is a duct unit that covers the heatsink and goes to the rear exhaust. The power supply has a 20 pin connector to the motherboard, seems standard....unless the pinout is different. I dont think i'd try unless i knew for sure it would work...

Wierd clicking noise....

The dell only has one fan thats a rear exhaust, so it couldnt cause any over heating (not immeditaly atleast). The video card doesnt have a fan. The power supply fun was running (could feel the air), but im not sure if it was doing the clicking. Thats why im thinking it could be the power...

Wierd clicking noise....

My friend has a dell that wont post. when you turn the computer on, the fans spin and there is a clicking noise, but nothing else happens. I first figured it was the hard drive, so we disconected that to make sure it was the source of the noise, but the clicking was still there. We unplugged...

anyone can play 1080p movie smoothly?

i had no problems playing 1080p on my skt 754 A64 3400+ @ 2.4ghz also have 1gb hyperx, 6800gt

I actually didnt think of that...makes a lot of sense actually. I mean, did sony or microsoft really HAVE to come up with a new controller scheme when its pretty much the exact same as before? new console automatically means new controller i guess... the only thing i want to know is if...

Old network card, 64bit system?

You need 64bit drivers for that nic, otherwise you cant use it in a 64bit OS.

What's wrong with Kingston HyperX RAM? 1Gig for under $100?

i've heard that the hyperX is a mixed bag....its works for some, not for others. for me, my hyperX doesnt do the timings advertised (2-3-2). I got mine cheap so i dont really complain. Test it in your system to see if it works the way you want.
