I think I'm going to suck it up with my temporary fix and save some cash to build something in the next month or so. Thank you for all of your help!

Help! need advice!!

Thanks for the advice. The math was perfect. I'm going to have to check out the finances, see if I can spring for this. I found a Geforce 2 in an old computer that I threw in, so at least the computer is operational. Hence, I have a little more time before I take any action...

ok, so the warranty on a 6 year old product... i'm going to take a wild stab in the dark and say that its long gone. plus, is it even worth it to buy a new video card (as in will the new card even work in my old system), or do i just build a cheap new system?

outlook address book question

Hi guys, Thanks in advance for your help. My problem is that whenever I export my address book to a file, I can never get it back to my address book. It will only show up as contacts. Am I missing some easy step here? Any help would be appreciated, cuz it's a pain in the arse to type all...

mini dv and xrays

Quick question. I'm taking my camcorder on a vacation and i'm wondering if i have to take my mini dv tapes out of my carry on to prevent damage by the xray machine. Any ideas if there is any damage to blank tapes, or to used tapes? Thanks in advance

The odd part was that this guy passed over stuff that was much more expensive, digital cameras, camcorders, stereo systems, beer, and other DVDs. It was like he specifically targeted the 2 of us who lost our stuff. Pissing me off. The cops said that if I see a guy with his destription around...

First, a little background. I go to school at OSU and live in a large house with 8 guys, each of us have our own bedroom. There are 2 bedrooms on the ground floor, 4 on the second, and 2 on the third. We rarely keep our front door locked due to the fact that someone is almost ALWAYS home...

Anyone heard of CommonName adware? How do I get rid of it?

Anyone heard of CommonName adware? How do I get rid of it?

I've run adaware, but it can't delete the folder because it says it is being used by some other program. I couldn't delete because of the same problem. When you try to uninstall it, it sends you to its website and tells you to download the uninstaller, which reinstalls a zillion other programs...
