how to make a dynamo for a bike

Well I've been riding my bike a lot lately and I figured heck I should put all that energy to use, and it could make a good workout to power a TV by bicycle. So any advice on what would be needed for a bike dynamo would be appreciated. I'd hope to build it by hand as much as possible, but if...

laptop cd-rw/dvd

Casimir effect = free energy?

the energy created at best is zero because of having to cycle it to maintain all the processes also the energy needed to keep the metal plates as frictionless as possible and very small distances apart would take away from any energy created

Argh- XP Install problem

hey ya'll i decided to format my hard drive, to clean it out every so often and get rid of the junk. before i formated i was using XP pro. so i formated, put in the 6 startup disks and everything's fine untill the end. it gets done and then boom. blank screen, no blinky cursor, no keyboard...

What to do with these college letters?

yeah i'm a junior- took psats earlier and got a 198 index- and now i get way too much college mail. today i got at least 6 letters from who knows where. i think it's funny that they'd waste so much paper on us. i fill out some things to get free stuff and you'll eventually get open house...
