Partioning under Windows XP

Hi all I have a 160 GB HDD by Maxtor and i find it hard to partition it under Windows XP. I tried FDISK with it only recognising 40 GB of it and Partition Magic closes with errors after rebooting. Can anyone help? Also I would like to dual boot Windows XP with Xandros or Red Hat. Would...

If you use NTFS Encryption, read this

Hiya Guys If u encrypt a file using EFS in one user account, will other users be able to read that file. Or do you need to set permissions for that?? BTW Nice post :laugh:

MSI K8N Neo2 Plat. + AMD 64 3500+ temps?

Hi all :D I built a PC for my sis with the the same mobo (updated bios version and all) and i used a TT Volcano for it (quite old but i love it). I sanded the base down to a smooth finish and the idle temp is abot 30 - 32 :) Smashing!!! :laugh: Bye

AMD in Danger

Hiya Zebo, I dont think thats not true, especially for Linux users. As for windows the 64 bit OS is in beta version. Its only a matter of time until it comes out with a fully functional one :D

Socket 939 vs Socket 754

Hi one and all :) I've heard rumours that Socket 939 allows CPUs to support more multimedia extensions than Socket 754. Is this true?? Also what is the difference in arhitecture of these two CPUs??!! Thanx in advance
