How do big companies like Intel test the chips (CPU/chipset)? How do they make sure all the transistors/interconnects can operate properly at desire frequency??????
I renamed my old "Documents and Settings" directory to some other name in WinXP Home Edition. After I re-install, I cannot access that old, renamed Documents and Settings directory. I tried to look if there is any thing I can turn on to acesss the files but I cannot find any.

I was wondering what they will do with their DASP. Will they just take it out and focus on more clear design? Or, will they try to improve its algorithm so the contents in the DASP cache are always exclusive to what the CPU's prefetch and are also always useful contents that CPU will need? Is...
From all the review I read, nForce with DASP enable does not perform better than Via's KT266A chipset. Does that mean DASP is useless for processor with its own prefetch or does that mean a bigger DASP cache and better DASP algorithm are needed to show its benefit.

Wow, with all of these movements, I think we are finally entering thread-level parallelism era. Instruction-level parallelism will be history just like bit-level parallelism.
I fix this now.
In the hdd properties, I changed it to "PIO only" and then changed it back to "DMA if Available". And, the drive starts to run at DMA ATA100.... weird
I know why people dislike Fry's and still shop there. They take returns with not much questions (Last year my gf bought a Toshiba 2.4GHz Cordless and decide not to keep it, she returns it WITHOUT box and they still give full refund). And, they always have very good deals.
