180mm fan?

Opinions on upgrade

Thanks everyone. Does my thinking of getting Sandy Bridge instead of Ivy Bridge seem right? I'm not really sure if a 10-15% increase in performance would really be worth spending over $100 more, escpecialy when both will be a significant increase coming from a Q6600.

Best way to back up large AVI file onto DVDs?

Need Backup solution for my p/c

I use Cobain Backup to backup all of my files. I don't think it will image a drive like acronis, but it does incremental backups of my data drive just fine. It's also free: http://www.educ.umu.se/~cobian/cobianbackup.htm

Post photos of your *neat* case cabling job :)

Free Windows Vista Business & Office Professional 2007 ?

I haven't received a 1099-MISC yet either (and I should). You don't really need to have one to finish your taxes. MS's tax ID is 91-1144442. You fill out the 1099-MISC and put $798.00 in box 3 on the form. I think that's all the info you need. Of course, I'd like to have the actual form in...

Partitions Not Detecting Correctly

You can change drive letters under Administrative Tools->Computer Management->Disk Management. Right click on the partition and select change drive letter. You'll have to first change D to something not used (like Z), then switch E to D and Z to E :).

Noscript - Extension for Firefox

All I do is just click the No-Script button (lower right corner with an S icon in my browser) and allow scripts on whatever page I want (ie anandtech.com). You can have it be permanent or temporary as well. It reloads the page and should display correctly.
