Ooops, yes, enabled in the adapter. Though I can only imagine how awkward it would be with a 70-400 G lens or a Bigma.

Latest firmware enables AF apparently. FM forums, shrug, nikon/canon centric, so of course they'll find any flaw they can. The 16mm is very sharp center wise at least... it's a new lens format so there will be flaws until they sort it out.

6800 ultra has better iq than x800 pro article at digit-life

Wasn't there a few sites that tested the 6800U with SM 3.0 in synthetic benches including Far Cry with the sm3 patch and with eye candy turned on the 6800 was brought to it's knees, it was so slow? Personally I'd take either card if offered and most sites outside of FUD like pcpop seem to agree...

FX5950, still better than 9800XT...

Gee, so if it takes 3.3 sec to open photoshop with my ati I should dump it for nvidia 'cause it opens in 3.09 secs. Well, I'll keep ati's better colour accuracy over nvidia.... no wait a minute, I use matrox for my photoshopping machines, blows em both away in 2d. Caveat is, speed isn't...

either of these a good LCD??

Of course all the 16ms panels are AU pretty much as far as I know and the trade off for speed is they are all 6bit panels of 262000 colours opposed to the 8bit 16.7/2 M colours of the 25ms panels.

WHY Upgrade to a Radeon 9700?

Drivers showing issues? Seems what few reviews are out they're saying the drivers are stable and pretty good for a first release. Also, I see many complaining about the price, well really.... with a few of the prices quoted here it's less than a $100 more of a top of the line G4 Ti4600 of...

Antec truepower fan connecters

I've heard the case temps have to reach like 40c before fans on the fan only will kick in at full speed. I have the truepower 480 and only left one fan hooked up to it, a 36cfm Sunon.... ironically, the PSU fan at the back pushes more air than the one hooked up to the sunon ever will on the fan...

ASUS A7V33 voltage question.

Asus probe is faulty..... try the newest version or check the voltages in the bios when booting for a more correct value.

Is PC-Chips/Alton and ECS the same company?

ECS are not nor have ever been a subsidary of PCChips... they are seperate comapnaies... in fact ecs may have been around longer. Any one remember Elite boards back in the 286/386 days... that was ECS.

do all kt266 use the vlink between the north and south bridge

Yet the few reviews leaking out from the various test sites have the new asus kt266 board faster than any current 760 and faster than any other kt266.

Which motherboards have the highest RMA rates?

I'm with hellraven on this... its a pointless thread. for example, if abit has 100 boards rma'd and iwill or soltek only have 50 rma'd, which has the worst rate... in all probablitiy, iwill or soltek because their volume of produced boards is lower. So unless someone can publish some actual data...
