Could always try to run it at pc2700 speeds. Ram quite often has a good amount of overhead. As long as you aren't looking to run that ram at very aggressive timings (i.e. 2-2-6) I wouldn't hesitate on trying, provided that your bios allows such tweaking of course.
Bought the ram online [was out of stock and expected delivery of October 8th when I ordered, but got in stock the next day]. Delivered to my door by ups ground in 2 days [NJ to sw VA].
Runs at pc2700 speeds at 3-3-11 timings (2.5v) just fine. This is a great deal.
Got the card in today from Connect3d. Didn't softmod (checkboard). Tried to underclock the memory and gpu just for kicks and my suspicions were right that this did not have any effect on the success of that.
Overclocked it to 351mhz gpu and 303mhz memory and it's running rock solid [3464 in...
Got my 4 ink cartridges in today (for an Epson 777). Ordered them 9/02. Expiration date on all of them: 5/05. Did not try to get me to pay for the postage either. Rainbow on the boxes.
Definitely worth my $11.
Just got these in yesterday. Very nice set of speakers. The ir sensor is on the sub, so yes, you need to point the remote toward the sub.
Definitely worth the $100 (including shipping)
Using a pal8045 w/ a 49cfm sunon 80mm to cool a 1700xp at 2.2ghz. Blowing down cools about 1 degree C better than sucking consistantly with full load.
It's still great :)
The installation is going well. It has rebooted into the gui installer at the moment. I have 2 other storage hard drives that I did not want to wipe which I will use to salvage the data from the old boot drive so that should not be a substantial problem at all, it will just be a major pain to...
The old install of windows 2000 was on a fat32 volume. I attempted to do what you said, however, installing a new version of windows 2000 would require me to reformat the volume, according to the installer.
Thanks for the link about how to survive a motherboard upgrade, however, as the...
I recently had an epox 8k7a motherboard die on me (wednesday night) due to what I believe was bad caps, but that is another issue. This happened outside of the end of the warranty by about two weeks. Instead of trying to get epox to fix it, I went and bought another board, the epox 8rda+...
