I believe they are. Before putting the ups back together i tested with my voltmeter with the batteries plugged into the holder not connected to the board. Red to red. Black to black and it was reading +24v

I saw that, and as good as a deal that is, I may have to wait until they hit the $700 or $650 mark. Which might be in a few months considering how things are going so far and with the imminent release of some other widescreens that do G-sync/free sync. Of course, I can't tell the future, so...

I want to say he kept it past the return date? But he states this is "like new" I think from the advice here $650 is not a deep enough discount to warrant the purchase. I have since left it be and politely told him that he would need to drop the price more for me to consider buying it.

That would be nice, but not all houses are built the same. In a two story house not all the wires for the lights go through the attic, you would have to go to the breaker and find your wires there and then hook it up that way. Also what would you do to the existing light switches? and not all...
