I think I can run my memory faster...

if i buy some more corsair valueram DDR400 and replace the geil, would all the RAM run at 200MHz?

I think I can run my memory faster...

here are my CPU-Z screens. CPU memory DIMM1 DIMM2 DIMM3 DIMM4 my motherboard is a Gigabyte GA-K8U-939. i can't change my FSB-DRAM ratio. increasing my DRAM FREQ to 200MHz won't allow for the computer to boot. i'll take pictures of the advanced options i can change in the BIOS.

External Hard Drive stuck in USB 1.0 mode?

it's pretty weird...my WD My Book 250GB will operate in USB1.0 mode on all computers except for this ONE USB port on my macbook. if i plug it into a windows computer, windows tells me the drive can operate faster if it were plugged into a USB2 port. the problem is all the ports i'm plugging...

CPU usage is always above 50% when idle.

my CPU is reported as 2ghz...everything checks out. i'm going to pick up a 939 mobo from microcenter this weekend. epox FTL. RMA parts FTL.

nothing is taking the 50%. that's the problem. it was slow installing windows XP too. i'm thinking the motherboard is screwing up somehow.
