Celeron-A Mobo W/audio? Recommendations Please!

The TUSL2 has audio and video, but the video portion says that it has LCDTV output. Can that be used for normal TV with an adapter or just LCD? This would be perfect if that output will work as a TV out.

My P4 (@2.5) also idles at 28C(load 45C), but I have ~200CFM of case flow. It idles about 32-33C (load 52C) with a single case fan running.

I'm not really an AMD fan, but AMD fan or not, you can't deny that the PR rating was a good idea on their part. The Athlon deserved the PR ratings it has when the only CPU for comparison is a P3/P4(as long as the PR is accurate). AMD would have looked really bad had they kept the old real Mhz...

OMG! my old t-bird beats my new p4

The whole comparison was poopooed from the very beginning. SIS, diff vid cards, diff HDDs, diff ram amounts. And could you share some numbers behind your "6 times as long" statement? Booster...Got any more of whatever you've been smoking?

Is Antec SX830 case w/ 300w PSU enough for XP 1800+?

Strange voltage behavior....

The 12V rail powers all fans, HDDs, CD/DVD/RW, and CPU(P4 atleast). I think only the spindle motors and head servos in the drives pull from the 12V. I don't think there is any way that our 12V rail is really as low as what's being reported by MBM. I'll have to check my 12V in BIOS, not sure...

Strange voltage behavior....

The slight voltage flux everyone is seeing is unfixable, no PSU has a perfectly constant output 24/7. Maybe an inherent trait of the 845D, or poopooed hardware monitoring(asus P4B266), but I was seeing extremely low 12V readings, like 10.8-11.2V on the + rail, and 11.5V was normal on the -...

*FIXED* Would extra cooling on the northbridge help overclocking? *FIXED*

If the Northbridge was blazing hot I'm sure it would have an impact on operation, but they don't procude much heat. The stock Epox HSF should be more than enough. Hell, I don't even have a fan on mine, just a HS, and it runs at 156fsb 24/7. Granted, you can't directly compare VIA to Intel...

Should I go for Intel or AMD?

Grab a P4, you won't regret it. I considered an AMD1800+ when I was upgrading a few months ago, till I saw how sweet the 1.6A's are. Currently: Asus P4B266 P4 1.6A @ 2.5Ghz, 1.6V - STOCK HSF W/AS3 - Idle 28C, Load 45C 256MB Crucial PC2100 @ 312Mhz 2-2-2-5 I'm very happy with this board...
