Upgrading my 2405fpw for games, need info/recs/help

Yupp, i still remember that time,...ouch hurt in pocket. Honestly OP, keep your 2405fpw, not worth it imo to change.

E6420 & 8800gts 640 - Upgrade help...

i am a chicken to open my computer, remove the existing fan, putting the new ones and all thermal paste and anything....:( If i can get gtx 260 core 216 for 100 bucks, that should be good too no? The 460 will be heaps better though.

Upgrading my 2405fpw for games, need info/recs/help

I still game on my 2405fpw. I dont play fps not much, playing l4d, l4d2 but now mostly sc2 only. Can you really notice the difference? Try playing at your friend's place? Not worth imo to get a new monitor just for claimed "response time".

how much debt you owe? now with POLL

Have house mortgage @ 518K, car loan @ 19K with 0% APR, student loan 2K, credit card 1.5K.... Gonna add student loans in two years (~50K) since I will be going back to school. But i will pay the current student load and the cc by the end of the year.
