I'd say the most effective way to prevent these kinds of problems would include not kicking back and ignoring your government's foreign policy actions while they bomb the fuck out of innocent people for two decades.
There's a reason so many people hate our country, and it has not one bit to do...
Okay, dude. Now I remember why I don't post here much.
Here's what I'm pretty sure happened: You misunderstood or misread my original post and we most likely share the same point of view concerning censorship, gun laws and drug laws, but since you couldn't just say what you wanted to say...
You spent the time to make two separate posts, and you can't just actually say what you're trying to convey.
Be more passive-aggressive, we need more of that in our society. I bet you have awesome relationships with your friends.
You can't just come out and say it? Whatever.
It isn't quite plain, or I would not have asked. If what you're getting at is that the Grateful Dead or LSD are inherently "bad influences" I completely disagree with you.
I wouldn't have agreed with you years ago, as I'm generally very opposed to censorship, but you're right.

Edit: I won't say he doesn't have any songs with meaning. There is a giant amount of if that should insult your intelligence, though.
I was mostly attempting to point out the lack of logic in Red's post about "what nature intended"
Seems that people will come up with all sorts of justification for the prejudices they don't consciously realize they have.
You're right about all of that, but it doesn't seem to be working very well for us.
Do you think it's good that people are taught to fear going to hell when they are very young? Because in my eyes, that's straight-up child abuse and those parents don't deserve to have children.
When was the concept of marriage first defined?
Why does homosexuality exist in other animals?
You're right, it's not a phobia at all. That's just a nicer way of putting it than calling people the assholes that they really are.
Going to CNN.com is a mistake, but I don't know why you're getting so worked up about someone who had a face transplant done.
There are far more horrifying things happening every day that should bother you far more than someone who looks a little abnormal...
