Well this is just great, I got the box, everything was nice and sealed, nothing looked like it was even used before except for the firewire cable which had a little bit of dirt on the contacts....But when I finally load up some music after charging it up, It restarts! The ipod Clicks, and...
was there at 8, parking lot was insanely packed, and pretty much all the cheap deals were gone. I did manage to score the samsung printer, it sure spits out pages fast and clear! :Q
its actually a good price for a pretty new drive. for most people, scsi would mean that they would have to buy a scsi card, not to mention 10k drives are a little more than $155

I still have my old 4x caddy scsi plextor...still works and is very dependable. I also have a 40/12/40, and that is still burning fine. IMO, they're well worth the price premium, and at $56....seriously.....i consider it a hot deal :D (i still remember paying 300+ for my 4x :Q but it was worth it!)
good points; those were the main things I was thinking about when choosing which way to go. Other than raw math speed, it seems Intel is the way to go for now, at least till opteron comes out (with agp slots on the mobos). but initial investment for dual xeons is pretty high though :disgust:
