Diamond SupraMax USB Modem HELP!!!!!

Hi, the modem is really troubling me! Is there a way to let it co-exist with my USB kb and mse (thats me a sucker for all things new).

Weird win98 problem

I am using Hercules GeForce DDR-DVI ver 12.40, it is the latest according to their web. I have also used detonator b4 but to no avail. Thanks.

CD- ROM and audio cable

Hi, I can finally enable both the auxilary in and the cd-audio, but when I play cds through the auxilary in of my cd-rw, the sound only comes out of the fron two of my 4 speakers. The speakers volume of all 4 are on. When I play cds through my cd rom, sound comes out through all 4 speakers.

Thanks, I can only unmute either cd-audio or auxilary one at a time for playback. I have the latest drivers and I cannot enable both.

Hi, thanks for the reply. I checked the mute buttons, but it seem that I cannot enable both the CD-Audio and the Auxiliary In at the same time. It is either one and not both. Can u help me again??

<< I was thinking that maybe I could track this problem down by looking at the "bootlog.txt" file in the C:\ root directry but the date on that file is from 6/10/01 and I just booted up today (6/19/01) so that file must not get updated each time the system boots. Are their any other...

Weird win98 problem

I don't really have win2k, but am anxiously waiting for XP to come out. Shouldn't be a HDD problem as I have scandisk, defrag, scan for virus before. Shouldn't be a heat problem it occurs during startup and during serious gaming like Unreal, the system is still stable. Can anyone think of any...

Har har, out of desparation, I have already formatted my harddisk and reinstalled everything before. The thing is that the weird random hanging at startup still occur!! S.O.S!!!!!!!!!!
