I am sorting through this problem now too.
It appears as if the problem is that windows cannot (at any stage, even in the recovery console) find an installation of windows. Because it cannot find a systemroot, it defaults to not being able to access anything on the drive, outside of performing...
I have both the 9b (got it last year) and the 9s (got from this deal)--they both appear to be wonderful. They are big, but they work just fine for everyday stuff (1152x864 at 85hz). I would not hesitate to get another (at this price, I am almost thinking of getting one for work, parents, etc)...
I own it. Make sure it is V2 that you get , NOT a V1.
I had a really bad V2, which I sent back to netgear and they sent me a good V2.
The good one is pretty decent.
The bad one was REALLY stupidly-annoyingly-sporadically-bad and a pain to explain to the Indian techs to get an RMA.
I enjoy...
HOT? Well, this is a rather effective way to keep people from eating stuff in your office...
(Ironically, this is a pretty bad deal...they were around $12/lb when I got them from a mall candy store. Of course, a pound is a lot.)
The absolute worst (er...most well-done, I guess) was...
"The first 500 qualified resellers to sign up for the Seagate Partner Program get a free Black & Decker Cordless Screwdriver."
Most of us are not RESELLERs, not sure what "qualified" means.
Good find.
Hope the coupon goes through. B&M sometimes rejects them (or they "don't work on the computer").
I own this monitor (bought it maybe 4 months ago) and it is pretty nice. I paid $100 and felt like it was a steal. Rebates came through without a problem.
Tempted to get another...
Out of about 700 or so cd burns in my life, (and most of them were el cheapo brands) I have only ever had a problem with compusa brand and GQ. The GQ are ok in general, but I have had about 4 bad burns out of 40 total. Lowering the speed to 40x has taken care of most of the problems, but even...
My good experience with telnap:
I signed up yesterday to move my site [http://www.chilabs.com] from a lousy personal server (had the domain forwarded) to telnap. This is the best 5.95 I have ever spent. Wow. This host is super fast and very well-configured--it took about 18 hours for the dns...
Man, I hope this service is as great as this forum states it is. The website is poor in terms of incorrect spelling, incomplete sentences, and unpolished feel--check out this excerpt from the TOS:

Can these be ordered online or do you HAVE to go and get an in-person consultation to get the lenses? I know my prescription--heck, I even use older acuvue lenses--but I would hate to spend the extra $50 for an exam.
Where can I use this certificate online that will not ask for official...
I have not been happy with my netgear MR814v2. I got a dud (returned to Netgear via a process that non-experienced users and those without much time could not do) and but was later sent a decent one (but it HAS hung--granted, it was after 2 weeks of being constantly on).
Therefore, I would...
I got this to replace my 5 year old KDS trinitron (which incidentally was $350 employee open-box, so $100 was easy to plunk down for a brand new monitor). This is pretty much the same monitor as my old one in terms of what I *notice* about it. It is even a bit lighter, I think. Then again, I...
Hmm.. so they are shipping two different models (at least as far as features go) of the exact same model? Doesn't that seem fishy?
The literature is a photocopied double-sided piece of paper. It has similar information as is avaliable online.
Man, I need to send that thing back now...I think...
