I also have a commodore sx-64 portable, which is apparently rare... some guy just gave it to me for free, too, lol
^I kinda feel sorry for people with ZERO knowledge about the electronics they buy/own and get suckered into throwing their money down the drain by store salespeople/tech support etc
i can't believe that there are actually people who pay BB $100 to set up their TV
Hi everyone
So, for front intake fans... if the fans are somewhat obstructed by HD cages, do you guys use fans that have high static pressure over high CFM?
I'm planning on building a system inside a Cooler Master Storm Scout 2, and it seems like the front intake fans are obstructed a bit...
how about the Cooler Master HAF XM?
http://www.amazon.com/Cooler-Master-.../dp/B007Q7EG7I
$120
has slots for a 200mm or 2x140mm fans on the side to direct air onto your video card
has removable HD cage to allow better airflow from the front intakes
wow, this is a lot of great info guys... very thorough and helpful responses
I'll definitely be spending the next several days researching all of these case and components... seems like I have more options than I thought I had, LOL
also, the option of using some sort of external filter...
LOL, no AC is not available unfortunately... not really considering water cooling because I'm kinda scurred about a leak happening and damaging the rest of my system... I have never built a system myself, this will be my first build, so I'm not sure how complicated a WC setup would be
I'm too...
^LOL
I never thought of just taping some kind of filter over my air intakes... although it'd look pretty bad, I guess it's a last-ditch option if there are no perfect cases out there for me
these are only $5 on amazon, and IMO they'd look a bit more discrete than swiffer pads, haha...
Hello,
Any recommendations for a mid-tower case that will be used in a room that gets really hot (like >mid-80s F in the summer) and also gets very dusty. (Not sure why, it just gets dusty in my room a lot)
So that being said, I obviously need a case that has the best cooling, and also, if...
sounds good to me... I REALLY want a removable HD cage (which I think will become pretty standard for mid-range cases in a couple years), and was hoping there'd be a cheaper option than the 550D
why is old RAM so ridiculously expensive?
I had a really old desktop that I wanted to upgrade from 2gigs to 3 gigs of some DDR400 ram, and a 1gig stick was like $50 bucks
