Battlefield Bad Company 2 PC version $39.90 +shipping @ Gogamer (B&N dead)

It's pretty fun, my team is really enjoying the beta thus far. We competed in BF2, BF2142, and are still playing COD4. I think it's going to be a nice change.

DELL PowerEdge SC440

The PCI-e slot only runs a x1, do some google searches. People have already cut out the slot for it to accept a larger vid card however the slot won't actually run at x16.

Can you put dual-cores in a Dell Poweredge 1800?

Just an FYI.. I spoke with Dell and they advised that this server couldn't be upgraded to support dual-core processors.

SCSI Raid-5 Write Performance Problems (Plz Help)

thanks for the suggestions guys, I will try this out.. I've read that enabling write performance does add some fears... in that, if any type of power failure, i.e. power goes out and ups does not take up the slack quick enough anything that is within the cache can be lost.. is this true? I guess...

IDE CDRW, in addition to SCSI and SATA Raid in a small server.. (problems)

Just an FYI, in case anyone ever searches for something like this... I fixed the problem.. Turned out to be a setting in the bios that I believe was causing it. The IDE controller had a setting for the drive mode, PIO mode, Ultra DMA, Enhanced DMA, Max DMA, and some other mode. I just put it...
