Looking forward to this one and the minimal DRM only sweetens the deal. Unless something goes terribly wrong, I definitely see myself buying this on release day.
I want to pick this up but my contempt for the Securom/DRM is hampering my purchase. :(

I watched this rumor up until the release and was disappointed to see that no you can't play cross platform. Epic claimed that making patches for the PS3 required a lengthy approval process through Sony which would hold up cross platform patching. The only games that have really accomplished...
I blame the really crap multiplayer interface as part of the reason why online games are hard to find. However, it's not so scarce that you can't jump into a game at just about any time. You just won't have much choice, maybe 2 or 3 games actually populated.
