GTX 580 or 7870?

I've been offered a brand new 1.5GB GTX 580 for $375 NZD, was going to jump on this but found out 2GB 7870's are $380 NZD brand new too. Can't decide which to get, I understand the 580 will use more power, but putting that aside which would be the better option? I've currently got a 650ti &...

Steam's offline mode still requires you to be online ?

It's not that hard.. It needs to authenticate that you actually own the games and stuff when you go into offline mode, or it would be too easy to pirate games if you can just go "offline" mode.

Yes it needs uplay. No DRM on the actual game apart from uplay though.

Notebook WinXP WLAN problem

Will try all 3 drivers posted above. Here are hardware ID's: usb\vid_0b05&pid_170c usb\vid_0b05&pid_170c&rev4802 I done this earlier, that's how I originally got this driver for it now but it doesn't seem to be working.

Just got a 2nd hand notebook, can't find the exact model but from what I've gathered it's a "ASUS Z8100". It's only got 1gb ram so I'm wanting to use Windows XP on it for the low resource consumption. I had trouble finding wlan drivers for it but I have found the proper ones. They installed...
