Uh... sorry. I was going off of what Gary Key told me, and since I hadn't seen the M2R32-MVP on NewEgg yet (my primary retailer) I assumed it wasn't out yet. In any case, the comment about the Deluxe version of this board still stands as far as I know. I talked to someone at ASUS yesterday...

I have some (semi) good news and some bad news, everyone... The good news is that the ASUS M2R32-MVP motherboard will be released in retail within the next week. The bad news is that ASUS may not be producing the M2R32-MVP Deluxe version of the board at all. Gary is still waiting to find...

Good plan... especially since AM3 is based on DDR3, and DDR3 modules haven't even started mass production. I'm guessing AM3 won't even show up in significant amounts until Q1 or Q2 2008.

Are you sure you want to get a less-than-perfect board, just because it's cheap and available right away? I'd wait on a better board... DFI or ASUS. It looks like MSI's offering this time isn't so hot. The review on HotHardware seems to say "mediocre".

I'm waiting for the Deluxe, myself. No DFI for me (I'm an ASUS fanboy :P). DFI still has the same ETA as ASUS, AFAIK. (He didn't say anything about DFI)

The MSI boards are already available for (and being) reviewed. They don't seem to be very exceptional boards. I would recommend waiting for the DFI or ASUS, personally. There's a review on HotHardware today, I believe. Gary indicated that the DFI and ASUS should arrive in the same timeframe.

Pocket PC recommendation

HP iPAQ hx2795 is a good choice. There are some firmware flaws, but none are serious whatsoever. They will be easily fixed in the next firmware update (coming soon). It has wireless b (no pocketpc has g as of yet) with bluetooth and IR (with very good range for remote control functions)...
