The only thing I notice is the resolution of the screen Resolution 1280 x 800, is kinda small ifor 15.4 Wide? I'm no expert on computer graphics, etc, but wouldn't you want something better for this purpose ?

Q9400 versus Q9450

It depends on the application. Also why not the Q9550 for cheaper. Buy.com Why don't you list the purpose of the rig etc, photo shop, CAD, gaming or just surfing the net.

Help, upgrading PSU on Dell Inspron 530

I bought 380 version for my old Dell 4600 and it fit fine. I had to buy power adapter cause my mobo was so old. You should be fine. Antec Earth Watts Deal

Micro Center: Intel Core 2 Quad OEM 9450 =$299

I already posted this at SD, but for those considering 9300, why not get 9450 for the same price? 2.66Ghz with 12MB L2 Cache vs 9300 2.5Ghz with only 6MB. Its right on their main page. I did quick search and notice nobody mention this. Ripped from MicroCenter BUY the Quad Q9450...
