Opteron 170 Not Recognizing Dual Channel Memory

Random Reboots in XP

As I said earlier, the problem occured in more than one game (specifically kotor2 and counter-strike). It also occured during a test of prime95. I ran memtest86 and got 0 errors. At this point my system started slowing down considerably and running at high cpu usage when nothing was going on...

Double check to make sure you are seating the heatsink correctly and getting good coverage with the thermal paste. At the rate it is overheating it sounds like you aren't getting any contact at all between the heatsink and the cpu

Need some advice on what to do for system fan connector

that's because it isn't clawhammer. Clawhammers are 200MHz slower with a 1MB cache for the same class processor. a clawhammer 3200+ is 2 GHz vs 2.2 GHz

strange sounds from my logitech speakers

Sounds like it is some type of interference. I would try a different set of speakers to see if they do it too. Also, try moving the speakers further away from the computer. How close to you have the subwoofer to the machine? Another thing you could try, disconnect the speakers from the computer...
