Never mind, I solved the issue. It seems PDVD & ffdshow were competing. Put PDVD in the blacklist & all is right in the world.

Yes, everything for the sound card is set right. As I said, PDVD plays actual DVDs as it should through SPDIF, but when I try to play a video file with AC3 audio, it craps out.

I've been using PDVD for the last 3 years for all file types. This only started happening when I hooked my computer to my new receiver last night through the SPDIF out on my sound card.

My garage door opener has a button on the back to sync the remotes & also has instructions on resetting all remotes. look on your garage door opener

My roommate's mom won $92million in the lottery. Spent a month with a bunch of financial advisers before she went to claim the prize. Walked away with ~$50million after taxes & stuff.

New to E-reading

I use my iPod Touch with Stanza & get my books from torrents/newsgroups. Currently reading the Sword of Truth series this way & have done the same for the Harry Potter & Twilight series. Next I'll read the Dresden Files & then Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles.

Linksys WRT54G problems... can't admin my router

I have this router as well and have the updated firmware but have the same problem. Occasionally I can't access the admin page unless I unpllug the router or reset it. Anyone know why this happens and how to fix it?

I'm barely starting to watch Season 6 of Smallville and I was wondering, what's the logic behind having both Shawn and Aaron Ashmore in the series? Shawn showed up in 2 seasons as a bad guy and now Aaron plays Jimmy Olson? Huh? Also, sorry if this was asked at the beginning of Season 6 but...
