If a $50 printer breaks you just buy another $50 printer unless it is still within the 1 year warranty. The printhead in some is more then the printer.
The IP4000 is $100 with a $50 rebate right now, $100 - $50 = $50. This is a great printer !!!!!!!
The only one that might be worth fixing...
This is the worst thread filled with FUD.
Use quality third party ink and you will never have a problem with clogging or damage to the printer.

Looking for something better then plain paper, the design has some graphics that I would like to look good but it also has to be able to fold up some like standard jewels case paper does.
Anybody know what paper they use ?
I have a Inkjet printer.
Canon is very smart about how they did this, you see they are a big company and can buy large volumes of the microchips for their official carts. Smaller third party vendors won't bother with it cause they don't have the upfront money to invest and they don't sell enough to make there investment...
