No, you chould be good to go, even if the OS needs to load a new driver, it'll already be present and load automaticly (I'm assuming XP). but everything else should be the same. I've done a CPU swap a few times and aside from the case jockying, it pretty simple..
This motherboard does NOT need ECC Ram, I have non-ECC unbuffered Crucial Ram in this exact motherboard at it's up and running like a champ. BTW this motherboard rocks!
How about the Thermalright XP-90 heatsink? Overclockers.com puts it way above even the XP-120. The Zalman line make an appearance, but the 90 with a Vantec tornado takes the top spot with authority.
