Formatting trouble has ruined 2 harddisks????

SDRAM question.

A friend of mine has an old (not too old) iMac that uses SDRAM memory and I have a few extra SDRAM DIMMs.. I was about to pass them on, when the subject of compatibility crossed my mind. Is it possible to use "PC" SDRAM on an iMac? (they are PC66 and PC100 DIMMS 64-128MB) thanks! -Ricky

yep.. checked everything and made a driver cd... upgrade is the only extremely viable option as there are 40gb data that cant be distoryed (video files).. thanks for your help! ricky

this is really easy but i dont want to be killed by a short stalky person that is sitting right here.. when upgrading from winME to wn2K.. does it delete all your files (ie my docs..) im pretty sure it doesnt.. but i dont want to die. thanks all ricky

Any problems with SIS730 chipset and 802.11?

yah.. i had the same problem with a linksys wusb11 v2.5 and a SiS 645 chipset.. XP says it has the full 11mbps xfer and 100% signal stregnth but can open IE or network neighborhood.. does anyone out there have a working SiS/XP combo?
