How many of you here are still using Athlon XP rigs?

Athlon XP 2400 system here. It started out as an AXP 1700 around 2002ish, but I've since upgraded just about everything on it at some point. It's still working plenty fine for most things I do, especially considering the fact that I don't play many current-gen games.

Walmart Black Friday 2005 Sale Ad

Hm. I saw the speculation that the Walmart Laptops would have ATi 200M IGPs and S-Video out. Can anyone confirm that this is definitely the case, or will it be possible to do so soon?

Upgrades from an Athlon 1700XP

Thanks for all the comments so far. I'm really thinking that whatever happens, the motherboard does need to be replaced. Usually the issues are sound related, though there's also been a general instability that results in bluescreens and lockups that I can't trace down to anything in particular...

Excellent. Do you have any pages you could link that deal with the hacking and whatnot? Rrgh. I didn't even bother looking when they were printing out. Usually you can call the rebate centers and find out which one actually needs the orignal, and which does accept copies. One more potential way...

Shuttle XPC motherboard only?
