Personal Folder Repair

I have a personal folder that is corrupt and scanpst wont even complete saying it is too corrupt. Any free ones out there or low cost? Thank in advance

Computer Shutdown

I have opened up the case and left the side panel off. So far, I have not gotten any shutdowns. However, it has been only a couple of days. I thought it might be the power supply as well. and I am working on switching out the powersupply to see if that helps. I'll try and pick one up...

Thank you for the quick reply. However, my concern is taking off the mount, not the heatsink. The heatsink is a pain in the ass, but it does come off with a screwdriver. The mount on the other hand, I am not so sure about.... By mount, I mean the 4 arms sticking up from the motherboard....

Hi. I think I have a heat issue with my machine. The CPU is within Intel's spec, but barely. My question is this. How hard is it to remove the cpu heatsink/ fan mount from a motherboard? On this board it uses the 4stands that come stock with a P4 3.2 CPU. Do I need to take the motherboard...

Installing 423 heatsink/fan question

Although, it would be very cool if you did, it might be a hard sell. If you do a search on Google, they are advertised in a lot of places. However, I have yet to come across a review other than the one you just posted. I can't imagine them selling a whole bunch of these things if it hasn't hit...
