okay in my control panel under
"set up multiple displays" ... 2 of them where unchecked after I clicked "span across displays"
now when I try to check them manually it says "when SLI is enabled, only one GPU in the group can drive the displays"
what's up with that? I have 3 display...
hey I have a question... when you go to the nvidia control panal and under the SLI selection you select "span displays" .. what is supposed to immediately happen after you apply that? because I just applied it and 2 of my monitors went to standby while 1 is now on. "span displays" is still...
well I was stupid.. i ordered an i7 970. apparently it sucks at overclocking though . I liked that it was 32 nm instead of 45... but I think 6 cores versus 4 cores makes no different for gaming. Just more stress on the power supply.
I was just going to overclock my 920 as you said but I saw...
I currently have:
p6t socket 1366 motherboard with I7 920 (c stepping)
and 3 X MSI GTX 580 lightning extremes
I realize this is a mismatch in terms of GPU and CPU power. SO... my choice is either to upgrade to a 970 and overclock it....... Try to overlcock this (But I am worried about...
I tried in the game to show FPS with Control + alt + S but this only shows it while you hold it. is there a more permanent in game way to show it? (or should I be using nvidia software to show it?)

I have the P6T motherboard... it has onboard sound. Would I get better sound if I somehow connected an amp between my headphones and my onboard sound.... or if I went with an HT omega claro ?
for the record... I am looking primarily to game... and I was incredibly happy with an asus xonar STX...

this might be a dumb question but say I have 2 GTX 580 in SLI... if I throw in a third nvidia card... a gtx 550 .. and set it to physics can I still use it's display port but powered by the other two cards?
The monitor is the samsung S27A950D
So here is my question guys..... I have 2 nvidia GTX 580's. that means I have 2 display ports and 4 Dual link connections. I can't get 3 S27A750D's @ 120hz because I am one connection short. But.... what I can do is get 2 of the 750D's... and one of the...
