I only saw it in games like everquest or warcraft. The landscame scenery would flicker when you moved around due to the response time. what would happen is the whole landscape would briefly lighten before the pixels completely faded, then it would return to normal. as the frame rate dropped...

I had a 2470wnx, the lag was unbearable for me. Between the lag and the ghosting/flickering, I sold it and got the planar px2611w which I'm loving. Shame it had those issues, the picture quality was great and no backlight bleeding. I ended up keeping the Gateway FPD2485w as my second...

the planar is h-ips, characterized by a white glow at off-axis horizontal viewing. The s-ips black becomes purple at angles

I wouldn't count on all of them being able to tell the difference between reality and wishful thinking. Do you have a link of the post?

Just thought I'd update. I received my new PX2611w today. It did MUCH better right out of the box than the old one, with no backlight bleed or stuck pixels. here is the test before calibration: http://countercultured.net/cal...11w/px2611w-before.jpg enjoy.
