FWIW...I would not consider the average person here an average gamer...this is a hardware enthusiast site and thus people tend to have better computers than the average American.
I would suggest looking at what Dell sells. They sell more computers than anyone else.

No isopropyl alcohol in it. Basically ethanol and methanol with methanol being toxic to you. It is obsorbed through the skin and causes liver damage.
The P4T-E is not even a 850E mobo...
The P4T533 is an 850E mobo. However, non of its flavors at this time have IC4, they all have IC2.
I think aside from that Gigabyte mentioned above, there are not at 850E/IC4 yet. Hell, I think the mobo vendors could care less about they 850E. Abit is not...
I would run 3. I would have 2 blowing out in the back and 1 in the front blowing in but position it so it cools your hard disk. This will help keep your HD running long term.
Only putting 1 fan on the back of the 1040 case is IMO bad since there is an openning there. It is is not covered...
The Z560s are definately better at breaking. Look around at the number of people whose have blown in less than 1 month. Even scarier, look at the number of people on their third or more set.
The problem with the i850E versions of the new chipsets (compared with the DDR i845E) is going to be a HUGE price difference.
The RDRAM for the i850e is 32bit and I expect is will be $$$$$$$$$.
However, the i845E will be perfectly paired with 133 mhz DDR available now.
Anyone know what speeds the new 133 fsb P4s are going to come in? Hopefully more than just the highend speeds.
Any idea on prices for those?

I suggest raising the sub off the floor. This will also decrease distortion from the floor vibrating (no thats not a good thing musically).

Instead of a RAID, why not just get one of those Western Digital drives with the 8 mb cache? ~$220 for a 120 mb drive. That price is comparable to what you would spend on a RAID and you would get alot more space (as if you needed it)
