So let me see if I understand this: the Wii only outputs in anamorphic widescreen, leaving the monitor to handle the hardware stretch?

Thanks for the reply, MarcVenice. I upped the voltage to 2.8 and tried the timings with 1T rate and got the same problem. Just for grins, I set the voltage to auto and set the DRAM timing to "By SPD" at DDR400. That clocked me to 3-3-3-8, but the system seems stable. I'm going to try...
