Xbox 1 died, along went my xbmc

I've been debating this myself, but only because the XBOX1 cannot play anything 720p and above. I agree, though, nothing beats XBMC for playing local content! Using XMBC on XBOX1 and SickBeard. Wonderful combination, as long as your OK with SD content (viewing on a 57" RP-CRT set). FYI, there...

I just upgraded my last XP machine to Vista, so I can't verify that. I do know that Vista will block by category, by white list/black list, and keyword. It will also keep pretty detailed logs. This might be enough reason to upgrade to Vista...

Are you on Vista? If so, the parental controls built into the OS are surpisingly good. I was looking for a similar solution and discovered the integrated parental controls that worked out nicely. The XP parental controls might also give you what you need, you should check them out!
