Yes. I did flash the BIOS to v1009. I think there is a v10 Beta available on the web and haven't tried it. Originally the board came with bios v1007. I will try to swap with another video card tonight and will see what will happen. Thanks.

I have this strange problem after putting my system together. When first turn on the computer, I have no video or signal going to the monitor. If I hit the reset button, the system reboots then everything is working as normal. Eleven hours later, I come home from work and power the computer on...

most overclockable P4 cpu

Hi. I just wonder which one is the most overclockable cpu for the i875/i865 chipset motherboards ? I think someone mentioned the 2.4c Ghz cpu couple weeks back. Price difference between a 2.4 and 2.6 is very slim. Thanks.

Asus P4C800-E Deluxe + Kingston HyperX PC3500

Hi. I have the HyperX3500 512mb kit ( 2x 256MB module) installed on the Asus P4C800-E, bios 1009 and P4 2.8C. The tightest setting I can have is 2-3-2-5. BIOS corrupts if set at 2-2-2-5. Default setting since I am not into overclocking.

Hi jhites. Did you set your memory speed at 400 or 320 when overclocking? On my setup, if the memory is set at 400 then i can't go beyond 208 for cpu bus speed. If I lower my ram fsb to 320 then I can overclock my cpu fsb to 225 and haven't tried anything higher but my Sandra memory bandwith...
