The info I've gotten is that it's the Syntax Olevia - Which is a very nice lcd TV. Damn I wish I had a Micro Center near me. They don't seem to have them at www.microcenter.com

I need a SIMPLE, FAST + QUALITY cd ripper/mp3 encoder !!

I would very much suggest Easy CD-DA Extractor, it's up to version 5.0, and after you set it up the first time, it'll extract a CD with 3 key presses. (F9-F8-Enter if i remember right) It is free to try, and you can download it here

Good 15-17" AG monitor for sub-$170?

That looks great, and I'm going to order a few, but I'm going to need a monitor I can order over and over again, hopefully for the next few months.

I've been looking around, and I keep on seeing the KDS VS-55p and VS-7p, but I can't tell if they are Aperture Grill. Anyone know?

Good 15-17" AG monitor for sub-$170?

I'm looking for a monitor I can purchase in multiple quantities for the business I'm working at. They can be 15" or 17", they have to be able to do 1024X768@70HZ, and they have to be Aperture Grill. Any Ideas/suggestions?

What should my next upgrade be?

Anyone recommend a good place to get an nVidia GForce 2, 3 or 4 for a good price???

Or if you're willing to wait a few weeks, the GeForce 4 Ti 4200 should be at the high-end of your price point, and will kick a GF3 Ti200's ass.

What piece of hardware has caused you the MOST headaches in the past year or two?

I have to third (or fourth, i've lost count) the K7T Pro2a, started out bad when I got it a year ago, finally died 3 weeks ago. After that, the issues I've had with the K7S5A's have seemed like minor annoyances.

computer won't boot

This happened to me this weekend. It was a CPU that was DOA. If you have another CPU, try that one, if you still don't get a beep, it's probably your motherboard. Either way, you should be able to RMA it.

Ok, you do realize that the Athlon is not much more unstable than the P4? It is true that very stable Athlon mobos seem few and far between, but the ones that are have just the same uptime as a P4 on an Intel reference board. By deciding to buy the ECS mobo, you are sacraficing the very thing...

Which is faster? Nforce 420 built-in, or Voodoo3 3k?

What version of navigator in communicator 4.76?

Pain in the @ss financial company just upgraded thier server side, and are saying that we are going to need netscape communicator 4.76. I'm not going to install the full thing, and was wondering what the navigator version number was for communicator 4.76? -thanks in advance
