DS3 DOA?

Modestninja, do you mean both your original sticks were bad?? Isn't that higly unlikely? I had the same reboot every 3 seconds when I first got my board, and it didnt help even if I removed both sticks. Tried with just one, too. Same thing. Update on the RMA: STILL havent got my mobo...

i sent mine back to the store. the store sent it back to gigabyte. now it seems that was an unnecessary mistake from the stores side (they thought I hadnt sent back all the cds and manuals which I actually had). They apologized and promised to send me a new board. Now gigabyte promised to look...

I had the same problem!:| And I'm not the only one! Some people get it later on, sometimes randomly, somteimes permanently. Still, with their no change in hardware it's obvious its the board's fault. What ever you do DO NOT I repeat DO NOT send it back to Gigabyte/ the store you bought it from...

I had the exakt same problem (reboot-loop), only with my brand new motherboard paired with equally unused components! also a 6400.. So I think you should be able to get a new board from gigabyte for free, since it seems to be a common problem. I'm still waiting for mine, the shop received it 9...
