Cooler for Iwill KK266-R and Athlon 1.33GHz?

How high an FSB on a overclocked Athlon 1000?

You want your FSB as high as you can get it, to increase memory bandwidth, AGP transfer speed, etc. I run mine at 150-158MHZ, depending on my mood. OCnMan

what do you think about the radio shack thermal compound?

I, being cheap, have never used anything else. My Athlon 1000, running at 1500, has also not seen the hot side of 44DegC. OCnMan

Overclocking kt133a to 150mhz+

There are too many variables involved to answer your question directly. So, I will answer with an example. I run an Iwill KK266 with an Athlon 1000 at 1500MHZ. This is a killer mobo and I got lucky with a great Athlon 1GIG that wanted to ROCK!. Anyway, the system runs stable at 150FSB*10...

I NEED HELP WITH MY NEW ATHLON 1.4Ghz SYSTEM

The 1.4's are all unlocked, so if the first time you booted at 14*100=1400MHZ, the next time you didn't change the multiplier and tried to boot at 14*133=1862MHZ, and that sounds a little high, if I do say so! So, it sounds to me like your processor is probably fine but not ready to run that...

I would be very careful about forcing it, it is VERY easy to crack your chip if you apply pressure at an angle against the chip. If there is a way to press directly down on the HSF and get it on, this would be the ticket, just watch your angle, and remove the mobo from the case and lay it on a...

Jack up your voltage in the BIOS, then simply up your FSB until she chokes, and back it down a bit. You have the right parts, you should do well, at least 1GHZ easy. Good Luck, OCnMan

ToniCom RAM... Anyone over 158FSB, Cas2?

I just upgraded from some older Micron PC-133 that could just muster 150FSB, Cas3, slowest timings. I was hoping for 167FSB at Cas2, or ever Cas3 with the ToniCom RAM. I ran at up to 130 FSB to check PCI and AGP stability with the other dividers, just to rule out my periferals holding me back...
