Is there such a thing as a netbook or even laptop that has its own internal internet connection like a smart phone?

I think what you are looking for is a netbook with a built in modem that can access cellular networks. There are a couple available, AT&T sells the Acer Aspire One with 3G for $99 with contract, I'm not sure how much the data plan is every month. Dell and MSI also make netbooks with built in...

Motherboard clearance event at Fry's BM

Fry's B&M has been clearing out a ton of motherboard's this past week. I went to 3 locations in Socal and all of them had the same prices. YMMV at other Fry's lcoations. I didn't have time to check them all out, but here is a partial list. MSI K9A2 Platinum AM2+ $99.99 - $25 MIR =$74.99...

Are there any AGP cards which can play 1080p videos clearly n smoothly

I agree that the $100 is much better spent on upgrading the mobo/CPU. A motherboard with the ATI 780G chipset would easily run 1080P HD Video. Newegg is currently has a couple of 780G mobos combos with the AMD BE-2400 for around $100.

lenovo ideapad s10 $365 shipped $330 with live cashback!

This one is almost perfect for me. But I am going to wait a bit since I have a couple hundred dollars worth of Dell giftcards and Dell's netbook is supposedly being released on the 22nd. Hopefully Dell's offering will not be a disappointment, but that Lenovo is pretty solid and very tempting.

Another HTPC - Shuttle KPC K-48 - $125

This deal is also available in their B&M stores This is so much better than the original KPC. I checked out the original KPC in the Fry's stores. I loved the great size, but the lack of DVI/HDMI and an optical drive bay were deal breakers.

New Kitchen PC

The Shuttle KPC is small and dirt cheap, a barebones costs $99 and the prebuilt linux ones start at $229. There is no internal optical drive (there is actually a slim cd drive bay present, but its blocked by the faceplate). http://us.shuttle.com/kpc/

Garmin nuvi 200 @ Bestbuy for $99

Someone at Slickdeals had this advice: If you have the 2009 maps already on the device, don't register the device it until AFTER the 2010 maps come out next year, that way you can take advantage of Garmin's map gurantee.
