How bout the software? Once its actually connected whats the EASIEST way to convert the analog to a basic mpeg.

Rip VHS tapes into .mpegs

Ive got some VHS tapes i want to rip into my computer, I am looking for a usb device that does this as cheaply as possible, since once ive done it ill never need the device again. Any suggestions on a specific product would be appreciated.

"Best" keyboard?

I use a Z-board gaming board. It works great. I have the WOW and DOOM 3 custom boards and a generic gamer board, as well as the standard keyboard. You can get them for custom apps like excel as well.

Id like to keep the whole thing under 500, and the parts i have are at 300 now. If i can keep it lower i might upgrade the ram, or maybe a bigger hardrive.
