Neither Asus or nvidia include win2k IDE drivers.

Is there any way to not use the MS IDE drivers with win2k? I see XP has updated drivers, but I can't seem to install them with win2k. Any help would be welcome. Prefomance under disk usage sucks.

pushing 1GB RAM....

I got my gig for the price of 512...pure accident as they gave me 512 meg sticks rather then 256 meg sticks. I odn't see a speed difference in my normal applications...but when I have like 20 of my digital pictures open each with a few layers it seems a bit smoother ;)

RAM drive?

Ok since my run of luck yielded me 1 gig of RAM rather then 512 megs...any way to setup a RAM drive in win2k say like 500 or so megs?

Well.. 1st. I won an athlon XP 1800+, and motherboard from xppcentral.com. It got here today, and I went to the store to buy some DDR RAM. Well..got home..and after paying for 2 256 meg sticks...I find out that they are inface 512 meg sticks!!! AHh yes. Now why isnt powerball 200...

Gigabyte GA-7DX how good is it?

yes that was the Detroit one! I got an IM from a guy that was suppose to pick me up to go...but he over slept! eheh. Man all these people around me won...the 3rd or so ticket was 10 #s off mine.

Ahh man I deserve it! I stayed up all night, stood in the rain in 40 temp, for about an hour...to go home empty handed...this is my reward ;)

100 bux? i'm use to my $15 pc 133 ram :( I think i need PC2100/DDR266 DDR memory?!?! Whats a good brand of DDR thats not overly expensive? Oh anyone wanna buy a 1.4 T-bird, Asus A7V133 and 512 megs PC133??! ;)
