How to use MS word stored on the 2nd (data) harddrive

Hi, thanks; so there's no way to just plug in the old drive externally and hit a button to tell the new computer to copy over everything from that drive? And I also posted the same question in the "Memory and Storage" forum, and the topic has become the only locked thread, does anyone know if...

How to use MS word stored on the 2nd (data) harddrive

I took the harddrive from a computer with official ms word 2007 installed and put that harddrive into my newly built main computer as a data drive; the new computer has no ms office installed. Does anyone know if and how I could use the ms office stored on the data harddrive while in the OS of...

Using the screw driver doesn't help because the screw is always spinning with the support pin. Please feel free to suggest any ways to get the screw out. (This is for a case with...

Will the motherboard support pins cause short circuit?

After I installed my old components into a new case and connecting all the cables, I saw from the mobo manual a warning that I should remove any excess mobo support pins (the ones that mobo installation pins are supposed to screw into) that do not align at all with the mobo screw hole, in order...

is it normal for e8400 (c0/m0 stepping) to score 5.7 in vista ultimate 64bit?

guess I really shouldn't worry about the vista performance numbers, everything seems smooth so far anyways; I haven't done orthos yet, but that'll be the next thing I do. I'm on G.skill 4 gb ram pc2-6400 which is at 5-5-5-15 on 1.8-1.9v, I just plugged it in and it auto detected so I didn't try...

is it normal for e8400 (c0/m0 stepping) to score 5.7 in vista ultimate 64bit?

this was my first time building, I just wanted to make sure I didn't do anything wrong during assembly, thought scoring a 5.7 might be a sign of something, hopefully nothing; just seems that a somewhat late gen processor should score 5.9, so i'm collecting other people's experience thanks
